Developing e-Learning Resources
For my project, I intend to develop e-learning resources for 4 topics that are covered in Foundation Energy Skills (FES) training. The objective is that they will support learners to carry out some independent learning between classroom/workshop sessions, improving their readiness for face-to-face training.
The resources are interactive videos which employ a multimodal approach to the presentation of course materials, i.e. a combination of text, visuals, video, 3D simulations and narration. Theoretically, this type of presentation should appeal to different learner characteristics.

Storyboard 1
Storyboards for each video were developed and forwarded to colleagues involved in QualiBuild training for feedback. Below is a screenshot from the storyboard for Video 1.
Video 1
Below is a first draft of an interactive video for the Topic 1 - The Building Envelope. It employs various technologies that are either open source (H5P, Youtube, SketchUp Make) or readily available to trainers (PowerPoint, Movie Maker).
Video 2
First draft of interactive video for topic 2 - Thermal Bridging is available below
Video 3
The first draft of interactive video for topic 3 - Air Tight Construction is available below
