My Artefacts
My project is an instructor evaluation of an e-learning intervention to complement an existing face-to-face course delivery. I have engaged a number of colleagues, from my own institution and beyond, that were involved with QualiBuild training. A number were invited to input into the design and development of the e-learning artefacts.
To facilitate this, I adopted the SAM model of instructional design (Allen, 2012), an agile process which accommodated input from other trainers. I designed a storyboard for each artefact which I forwarded to my colleagues via Moodle for feedback. Once finalised, I then developed a draft interactive video for testing and feedback. Over the course of this process, the iterations of the interactive videos evolved resulting in final versions of 5 interactive videos covering basic principles of low energy buildings.
